Following a distinguished career as a consultant for prestigious international wineries, Marco chose in 1995 to carve his own path by acquiring the lands of Poggio Amorelli. While meticulously nurturing his first vintage in 1997, he began building the estate as it stands today: a beacon of excellence in the Chianti heartland. Together with his wife Adriana, he opened the winery's doors with the desire to welcome every visitor not just as a guest, but as family, revealing the true essence of Tuscan winemaking through an atmosphere of refined warmth.
Today, Poggio Amorelli is a premier family-run estate led by Marco and Adriana alongside their children, Gloria, Raoul, and Amedeo. The second generation is dedicated to evolving the business while safeguarding the heritage and values passed down by their parents.
